Land Acknowledgment

Continuum Educational Consulting operates on the traditional and ancestral lands of the Coast Salish peoples, including the Duwamish Tribe and the Suquamish Tribe.

We recognize that Seattle was built on Indigenous land and that the Duwamish people, in particular, remain without federal recognition despite being the first people of this place. This acknowledgment is a small gesture toward recognizing a much longer history of stewardship, displacement, and ongoing presence.

We encourage learning more about the Duwamish Tribe and the Suquamish Tribe, and about the history of this land:

Land acknowledgment is not a substitute for action. We continue to reflect on how our work and resources can contribute to equity and access within our community.
